About This Journal
Korean Journal of Agricultural Science (KJOAS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal, published by the Institute of Agricultural Science in College of Agriculture & Life Sciences, Chungnam National University. It publishes original research, applied, and educational articles quarterly in all areas of agricultural science.
KJOAS was first launched in 1974 December with Volume 1 and issue 1. Since 1974, journal produced two issues every year. Initially, it was named as Research Reports of Agricultural Science and Technology. In 1989 June, the journal was renamed as Journal of Agricultural Science from volume 16. Journal was started to publish quarterly instead of the former biannual issue from 2010. After 2011 March, it changed the journal name as CNU Journal of Agricultural Science from volume 38. At last, since 2016 March, journal rename and withstand as KJOAS to publish fundamental and applied researches on aspects of all areas of agricultural science.
KJOAS has been one of the KCI Accredited Journals since 2017. This Journal is indexed by KCI and KSCI.
Aims and Scope
KJOAS is an journal for papers related to the publication of fundamental research and applied research on aspects of all areas of agricultural science.
The Journal publishes reports of basic research on Agricultural economics, Agricultural engineering, Animal science, Agronomy including plant science, theoretical production ecology, horticulture, plant breeding, plant fertilization, and soil science, Aquaculture, Biological engineering, including genetic engineering and microbiology, Environmental impacts of agriculture and forestry, Food science, Husbandry, Irrigation and water management, Land use, and Waste management.
Manuscripts for submission to KJOAS should be prepared according to the following instructions. KJOAS is published quarterly by the Institute of Agricultural Science in College of Agriculture & Life Sciences, Chungnam National University.
KJOAS is striving to provide the best platform for researchers and scholars worldwide to exchange their latest findings. Authors are encouraged to submit complete, unpublished, original works that are not under review in any other journals. The scopes of the journal include, but are not limited to the following fields:
